John Haynes on Preprints

In an interview for the IPR License blog, John Haynes, chief executive officer, AIP Publishing, talks to consultant Paula Gantz about the history and impact of preprints on the STM sector.

Haynes also sees opportunity for publishers to address author pain points around preprints. “When you start to create such a large corpus of content which is freely and openly available, you need to consider how can you start to add value and add service on top of that,” he notes.
